Calling Boys 9 To 13 Years Old - Front Range Wants You!

FR B141

Are you between the ages of 9 and 13 and interested in volleyball? Whether you want to try out for one of our competitive club teams next year or you just want to get into the gym with other boys in your age group and have a blast, these open gyms are for you. No prior volleyball experience is required and the cost is just $5 per 1.5 hour session. You'll have a fun afternoon in the gym with our boys coaches and even some of our current Boys 14U Team members. You'll get some hands-on skill training but most of all, you'll get to play with some of the best boys in your age range in the region!

Think you are too young or too inexperienced? Relax. Some of our best players started playing club volleyball when they were nine years old with no experience and now with several years of competitive volleyball under their belts, they are among the best players in the nation and have been selected for the USA Volleyball High Performance Olympic Pipeline training team. When starting out, many of these boys felt nervous, just like you but they came to open gym anyway, had fun, and the rest is history. So, don't be nervous just come with your athleticism and hard working attitude and the fun will find you.

Coach Rolando Buted will be heading these open gyms along with our other 14U coaches. Coach Ro currently coaches our top 14U boys team who this year won an impressive victory against a local 18U boys team and took first place in three of their five local tournaments. Soon, Coach Ro and the 14U boys head off to Austin, Texas for the Boys Junior Nationals where they will compete for a national gold medal. Coach Ro was a setter for the University of Hawaii and brings not only immense volleyball experience but also his easy-going Island attitude to our program. Trust us, you son will love it.

Email Boys Program Director Bruce Decker at bruce@frvbc.com and he will send back directions, times and clothing requirements.
