Alumnae In the Stretch Run

There are only two and a half weeks left in the NCAA regular season. Many college teams are trying to fight their way into the postseason tournament or maybe they are working to improve their seed and position in the 64-team bracket. Either way, there is more to play for than pride in the last weeks. Here's a review of some of the standout performances from the past week.

Kindra Carlson followed up her 24-kill performance last week for #4 Washington with another career best of 26 kills in a 3-2 loss to Cal. That mark stands as the best attacking performance by a Husky so far this season.

Speaking of continuing career-best streaks, Texas A&M's Sarah Ammerman improved her career best mark for kills yet again by pounding out 26 kills in a 3-2 loss to Baylor. That is the third consecutive match in which Sarah has posted a new career-best mark!

Jonelle Wallace had a season-high 9 kills and her picture in the match summary of Auburn's 3-0 loss to South Carolina.
