All the All-Tournaments (Plus Two)
So much has happened in the college season so far that it's hard to keep track of it all! Let's take a look at the highlights so far. Front Range Alumnae have secured thirteen all-tournament nods, one tournament MVP, one pre-season all-conference accolade, and one conference player of the week. Check out the litany of achievements!

Lauren Jaeckel was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week after her amazing performances last weekend for St. Mary's College.
Kristy Jaeckel has had a great impact on the #4 University of Florida. She was named to the preseason All-SEC team and has showed that she is worthy of the hype by being named to all-tournament teams at the Campus USA Credit Union Invitational, the Community Bankers Classic, and the Tampa Twice Tournament.
Sarah Ammerman has been a big reason that Texas A&M has made a reappearance in the top 25 (#22). She was an all-tournament selection at the Texas A&M Invitational and she was the MVP of the Texas State Centurytel Premier.
Karina Garlington was named to all-tournament teams at the MTSU Invitational and the Arkansas Invitational.
Andee Youngblood was named to the Radisson-UCF Invitational all-tournament team.
Elise Sage was selected all-tournament at the Dartmouth Invitational.
Courtney Karst made the Santa Clara Invitational all-tournament team playing for the #18 University of Arizona.
Jessica Kagerise was elected to the UniWyo Cowgirl Classic all-tournament team.
Becci Burling was an all-tournament selection at the Duke Invitational.
Katelin Batten was named all-tournament at the Carolina Classic.
College Rankings
The American Volleyball Coaches Association releases a coaches poll each week, ranking the top 25 teams in NCAA Division I volleyball. The latest poll has teams with a total of eight Front Range alumnae on their rosters (Kindra Carlson, #4 Washington; Ariana Filho, #6 Minnesota; Lindsay Licht, #7 Nebraska; Kristy Jaeckel, #9 Florida; Courtney Karst, #18 Arizona; Sarah Ammerman and Kristen Schevikhoven, #22 Texas A&M; and Carrie Baird, #23 San Diego). Teams that received votes, putting them just outside the top 25, include six more former Front Range athletes (Katelin Batten and Evan Sanders, Colorado State; Lauren Jaeckel, St. Mary's; Emily Adney and Alyssa Heath, Wichita State; and Becci Burling, Duke. Add in the programs to which current Front Range athletes have committed to play and there are three more (Erica Denney and Mikinzie Moydell, #1 Penn State and Rachel Gillcrist, St. Mary's).
Congratulations on your success so far this season. Keep it up!
