Senior Commitments

Sarah Jaeckel

18 Gold's Sarah Jaeckel, a senior at Heritage High School, recently made a verbal commitment to play volleyball at Seattle University, where she will join FRVBC alumna Kelly Biette in the fall of 2010. The Redhawks athletic program is in the second year of a four-year process of returning to NCAA Division I competition after 28 years in other levels. The volleyball program currently plays a complete Division I schedule but is not yet affiliated with an athletic conference.

Rachel Gillcrist

18 Black's Rachel Gillcrist, a senior at Lakewood High School, has committed to play at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Rachel is following in the footsteps of FRVBC alumna Lauren Jaeckel, who is currently a senior at St. Mary's. The Gaels compete in the West Coast Conference.

Julie Cox

18 Gold's Julie Cox, a senior at Cherokee Trail, has elected to continue her volleyball career at CSU-Pueblo. A member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the Thunderwolves compete in NCAA Division II.

Congratulations to all three FRVBC athletes!
