13 Scarlet #1 at Crossroads!

Did you know that 13 Scarlet is the top Dig Pink Tour fundraiser for Crossroads? In a newsletter sent out to Dig Pink teams, there was a picture of the team and they are definitely in the Dig Pink spirit! (It looks like they weren't the only ones in the spirit either.)

Scarlet kept their fifteen minutes of fame going when they, along with 14 Amber's Erin Dilbeck were called upon to help teach local news personality Chris Parente from KWGN the ins and outs of the game. You can see Parente's video clip here. (You'll have to search for "volleyball" to find it.)
Remember that we're not finished fundraising yet! 18 Black, 17 Silver, and 16 Blue participated in Dig Pink day again at Big South. Let's keep raising money!
Let's go help in the fight to find a cure for breast cancer!
Crossroads!

Dear Parents and Staff,
How is it possible to put into meaningful words the immense gratitude and pride I feel for the effort you all give to Crossroads? I am overwhelmed at the dedication our club puts into this event and what we achieve by working together.
We had our most productive set up and tear down ever. We had more people than ever taking part in the multitude of tasks an event of this size requires to run smoothly. We received more compliments than ever this year. One college coach, for example, approached me, unsolicited, and said, "Don't think your attention to detail at this event is unnoticed. When we college coaches get together and talk about tournaments we are attending, we rank them on a scale from (shall remain nameless event) being the worst to Crossroads being the best, and everyone else somewhere in between." People who saw our event for the first time this year and those who have been watching us for some time all voice the same opinion - we are like a well-oiled machine.
Success like this is only possible because of all the hundreds of hours you all contribute to making this the best event in the country. You did it again this year, and I thank you.
Congratulations to all the teams and what they achieved. 12 Pink won the Silver medal in Club and 16 Red won the Silver in Select; 18 Black and 16 Red finished in the Top 5 of their qualifier fields; and 16 Blue, 15 White, 14 Amber and 13 Scarlet all finished in the Top 10 in their qualifier fields. 13 Scarlet raised the most funds of any team in week 1 of the Dig Pink initiative. Everyone worked hard and represented Front Range admirably, both on and off the court. We are amazing.
Once again, congratulations for all you've achieved by making Crossroads the outstanding event it is.

And Now For Something Completely Different...
While digging through the Front Range archives, we discovered a list, submitted by Front Range alumnae, of how "you know you've been at Front Range for a good amount of time if..." Keep your eyes peeled to see new installments from the list. (You can submit your own suggestions by emailing eduardo@frvbc.com.)
You know you've been at Front Range for a good amount of time if you're "all about" doing anything.
