Dig Pink!

Dig Pink

Colorado Crossroads is taking part in the Dig Pink Tour™! Dig Pink™, the fund raising arm of the Side-Out Foundation, is partnering with four national volleyball tournaments to host The Dig Pink Tour™, the largest program of its kind in sports to challenge the spread of breast cancer. Colorado Crossroads is one of the lucky events chosen to be a part of the Tour. The DPTour™ is a way for everyone in club volleyball to make our sport stand out as a truly significant force in this most important fight. Teams that participate in The DPTour™ will be raising funds to support cancer awareness programs and help sponsor innovative research into ways to battle breast cancer. To find out how to register and get pledges, log on to www.digpinktour.org.

Front Range will be participating, not just as a tour stop, but as Dig Pink teams! Each Dig Pink™ Team that raises $500 or more in pledges will receive a variety of pink accessories to wear for Dig Pink™ Day...the second day of competition. During the entire tournament, but especially on Dig Pink™ Day, everyone - players, coaches, parents, staff - will be encouraged to wear as much pink as they can - to create a "Sea of Pink." The Dig Pink™ Tour t shirt (like the design above) will be on sale at the tournament and you can bring your own pink “stuff” to wear. Hundreds of teams all wearing anything and everything pink!! Make sure your team is the pinkest of all!

Each Front Range team will be signed up by their team rep. The team rep will then pass information regarding fundraising on to teams and parents. For more information on the Foundation, visit their site at www.side-out.org. Read the inspiring story of the Foundation's start. Visit the "It's So Glo" blog. See how many teams have already signed up for the Tour.

Get ready to help in the fight to find a cure for breast cancer!

And Now For Something Completely Different...

They're watching us and we're watching them. Hopefully, you have noticed that there are some people in our gym that aren't parents, players, or Front Range staff. Those people are college coaches who come to our gym to see our athletes for recruiting purposes. Front Range has a great reputation across the nation and you can tell by seeing who comes through our doors. Here is a partial list of schools that have visited us this season.

University of Kansas
Purdue University
University of Denver
United States Military Academy at West Point
Colorado State University
University of Northern Colorado
University of Colorado
University of North Carolina - Greensboro
University of Wisconsin
University of Kentucky
University of Wyoming

Keep an eye open for which programs come in to our gym in the future!
