Front Range All Over All-Colorado
Front Range Players Reap What They Have Sown, part 4

Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over 'till it's over." In Colorado we can say that, when it comes to high school volleyball, it ain't over 'till the All-Colorado teams are announced. And, as usual, Front Range athletes are prominent members of the teams. The All-Colorado team consists of seven players, drawn from all classifications. Of those seven, five played for Front Range last season, including this year's player of the year, Lauren Van Orden. Congratulations to her, a well as Ariel Turner, Evan Sanders, McCall Paynter, and Courtney Karst.
In 5A, the All-State team showed similar Front Range flavor, with six of the seven selectees wearing Front Range colors last year. Congratulations to Carrie Baird, Ariana Filho, Karst, Paynter, Turner, and Van Orden with Van Orden again being named player of the year. The second team consisted of seven players and, again, there were five Front Range players selected. Erica Denney, Kendall Howard,Jordan Kissman, Kristina Rogers, and Bri Smith. Just to be consistent about numbers, the 5A Honorable Mention list also contained five Front Range Athletes. Amanda Arterburn, Ann Dylla, Kelsie Edwards, Cali LeMay, and Tessa Trimble give Front Range a total of 16 recognized 5A athletes. Congratulations to all of our 5a honorees!
In 4A, there were more accolades for Front Range athletes as Evan Sanders was named the 4A Player of the Year, Anna Atencio was named to the Second Team, and Emily Alexis, Alysa Birdsall, and Nichole Riedel were named to the Honorable Mention list.

Congratulations to all of you!

Alumnae News
(aka: The Wedding Bells edition)
Front Range recently heard from three alumnae who recently married. Katherine Wingert, Sarah Holloway, and Ashley Nu'u may all soon be known by different last names. (OK, Ashley hasn't tied the knot quite yet, but it will happen in the next few weeks.) Both Katherine and Sarah have invited us to see some of their wedding pictures. Just click on their names to view their pictures.
Annual Food Drive
Front Range Volleyball Club is collecting non-perishable food items for donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies.
Food Drive dates: November 26th through the last day of practice before the holiday break. Here are a few types of canned and dry goods that make nice donations: Tuna, ham, beef stew, chili, baked beans, fruit, vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, soup and pasta. Non-glass containers are preferred.
Donations can be dropped off at Front Range in clearly marked bins.
