The Hits Keep Coming (And Coming)
Front Range Players Reap What They Have Sown, part 3
When April rolls around and the snow still falls, we wonder why. When December comes and accolades continue to roll in for Front Range athletes, we don't wonder why, just why it took so long for everyone to hear about it.
Jordan Kissman, a junior at Eaglecrest, earned First Team All-Centennial League. Taylor Castillo, a freshman at Kiowa, was named All-District in 2A's District 8. Kendall Howard, a sophomore at Ponderosa, was named First Team All-Continental League.
Also, three Mountain Division players, Kim Snyder (Navy), Noelle Herrick and Paige Rappleye (Ruby) recently competed in the 2007 Colorado Junior High School Volleyball Championships. Congratulations to all!
Please help us stay abreast with all the latest news so that we can share your success with the rest of the Front Range family. Please email eduardo@frvbc.com with links to articles that mention or photos that include Front Range players. We look forward to seeing Front Range in the news!

(aka: The Tracy Stalls Files)

Tracy Stalls in the spotlight |
Tracy Stalls was named Academic All-American by ESPN The Magazine last week. Tracy currently carries a 3.95 GPA at Nebraska. Tracy followed Mekana Barnes' lead from earlier in the season and repeated as Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. Stalls earned the distinction in part for her offensive contribution against Texas Tech, where she had 13 kills on 13 swings. Also, Tracy was featured in an article in the Omaha World-Herald. The article is an account of her development as an elite-level athlete. Not one to rest on her laurels, Tracy was also invited to train with the National Team at the conclusion of her collegiate career. Most impressive of the articles about Tracy is a feature that appeared on Nebraska's Athletic website that talks about her leadership. Called "Portrait of a Leader", it is a wonderful testament to Tracy's work at Nebraska.
Annual Food Drive
Front Range Volleyball Club is collecting non-perishable food items for donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies.
Food Drive dates: November 26th through the last day of practice before the holiday break. Here are a few types of canned and dry goods that make nice donations: Tuna, ham, beef stew, chili, baked beans, fruit, vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, soup and pasta. Non-glass containers are preferred.
Donations can be dropped off at Front Range in clearly marked bins.
The Welcome Mat

Please help us roll out the welcome mat and welcome this year's crop of new Front Range athletes. This week, we welcome our 16 Blue newcomers, Tori Minovich (L) and Kendall Howard (R). Both players are sophomores at Ponderosa High School. We are excited to have you both join our family!
And Now For Something Completely Different...
20 days left until Christmas. 34 days left until RMR competition begins. Which are we more excited about? Put it this way, we aren't leaving milk and cookies out, we're sending in all our registration paperwork.
Also, the January calendar is now available online. Be sure to check it out here.
