The Hits Keep Coming

Front Range Players Reap What They Have Sown, part 2

As volleyball banquets give way to volleyball practices as certainly as April showers bring May flowers, another season begins at Front Range. Even as players trade in high school jerseys for Front Range long sleeves, the awards continue to roll in for Front Range athletes.

McCall Paynter, a junior at Grandview, earned First Team All-Centennial League as well as First Team Academic All State. Fellow Centennial League competitors Allie Freiwald and Kelsey Freeman, both sophomores at Mullen were named to the Second Team. Rachel Gillcrest, a sophomore at Lakewood, was named to the JeffCo League's Second Team. Alysa Birdsall, a sophomore at Cherokee Trail, was named to the Skyline League's First Team.

Please help us stay abreast with all the latest news so that we can share your success with the rest of the Front Range family. Please email eduardo@frvbc.com with links to articles that mention or photos that include Front Range players. We look forward to seeing Front Range in the news!

Christmas? Already?!?

Jen & Michelle

The 2007 Front Range Holiday Party is nigh! Saturday, December 1st at 7pm at Front Range, the club will host our annual holiday gathering. All Front Range families are welcome, including from the Boys team as well as the Mountain Division.

Coaches Michelle Hoffner and Jennifer Pokraka will be presenting the second annual Christmas Competition during the festivities.

Front Range will provide beverages. Families are asked to bring an appetizer to share as well as canned food for donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies. The canned food collection will continue after the holiday party as well.

Food Drive dates: November 26th through the last day of practice before the holiday break. Here are a few types of canned and dry goods that make nice donations: Tuna, ham, beef stew, chili, baked beans, fruit, vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, soup and pasta. Non-glass containers are preferred.

Donations can be dropped off at Front Range in clearly marked bins.
