Alumnae News

Rachel Holloway, Ashley Nu'u, Tracy Stalls (L to R), Front Range's three 2006 NCAA All-Americans |
This week's featured alumnae match up: Rachel Holloway, Lindsey Licht, and Tracy Stalls versus Ashley Nu'u (sort of). #1 and still-undefeated Nebraska came to call on the University of Colorado recently looking to avenge their lone loss of the 2006 season, a five-set thriller that saw CU prevail. Licht, a freshman at Nebraska, was in the stands last year but she was on the court this year in Husker red and white. Ashley Nu'u had a front row seat this year as a student assistant coach at CU after finishing her career a few weeks after the Nebraska match. After the match, all four alumnae were able to catch up with friends, family, and each other. Ashley and Tracy will be able to share stories from their time training with the National Team. Rachel looks to be on a similar track, given her experience setting the Junior National Team, and Lindsey will be a hard player for USA coaches to ignore as she develops as a college player. Front Range is proud of all of you!
A pair of Front Range Alumnae at Colorado State University were featured in the news recently. Katelin Batten was interviewed by the Coloradoan and Mekana Barnes was the subject of the most recent "My CSU" online. The pair have been integral to CSU's move up the AVCA coaches poll, where the team currently stands at #18. Keep it up!
Playoffs!
