Sanders Commits to Colorado State University

Evan Sanders, a Junior at Centaurus High School, will attend Colorado State University in the Fall of 2008. There, she will play for the CSU Rams with fellow Front Range Alumni Katelin Batten, Mekana Barnes, and Jonelle Wallace. She chose CSU because she loves Colorado and would love to have her famiy and friends be able to support her in her college career. She believes that CSU will allow her to have a great college experience both athlectically and academically.

Evan will play on 18 Black this year, her fourth year in the club. During the last 3 years, she won a 14 Open Bronze medal at JO'S in 2004, a 15's Regional All-Star award in 2005, a 15 Club Silver medal at JO's the same year and named to the all-tournament team at that tournament. At Centaurus HS, she has been on the All Academic Team in Volleyball all three years and her freshman and sophomore for basketball and track. Last year, she was named the Player of the Year for the Daily Times Call.

Congratulations Evan!
