Shawn Kissman

This is Shawn Kissman's sixth year at Front Range. Shawn has coached 18 Gold, 15 Cardinal, 14 Amber, and 14 Royal teams. In 2001, 14 Royal finished 3rd in the region, just missing a bid to Junior Olympics. In 2002, 15 Cardinal won the Crossroads National Qualifier - the first time a club team in our region had won a national qualifier. In 2005, after winning the regional championship, Shawn led Amber to a perfect outing at JOs - 11 matches won and 22 games won, to bring home the second Gold medal in 14 Club for Front Range and the RMR - this one being in 14 National. In 2006, Amber finished in the top 5 in two national qualifiers, and qualified in Open for JOs (the only 14s team to qualify in Open in the Region), where they finished as one of the top 15 teams in the nation.

After attending Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas, where he was a scholarship athlete in baseball, Shawn transferred to Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas, where he received his degree in Data Processing. While in school, Shawn took various sports classes including weightlifting and volleyball. Shawn has been coaching sports since graduating from college. While playing USAV men's volleyball as an 'A' player, he started coaching girls volleyball, coming through both the recreational and feeder programs to eventually coach in both club and high school.

Shawn currently has an IT company (1World Technology Solutions www.1worldtech.net) that services small- to medium-size business computer networks. Away from the gym, Shawn enjoys playing sports with his wife and three daughters.

This season, Shawn will coach our 14 Amber team for the fourth year, as well as be the Lead Coach for the middle school teams.
