Shayla Glendenning is a familiar face to anyone who has been around Front Range for a few years. Shayla is on her second coaching stint at Front Range after having first coached in the program from 2000 until 2003.

Shayla began her coaching career during her time as a volleyball student athlete at the University of Montana. She served as the sophomore coach at Big Sky High School during her sophomore and junior years in college.

After finishing college, she moved to Denver and joined Front Range as an assistant for 13 Scarlet in 2000. The following year she was the head coach of 15 Cardinal, led the team to a berth at Junior Olympics, and was named the Rocky Mountain Region Female Coach of the Year. She also helped Cardinal qualify for JO's again in 2003.

In 2005, Shayla joined the coaching staff at Colorado Performance. She coached 16's, 17's and 18's during her three years with the club. Her 17's team garnered a bronze medal at Crossroads in 2006 and her 16's qualified for Junior Olympics in 2007.

In 2008, she turned her attention back to younger ages. Shayla coached Littleton High School's 8th grade Gold Crown team.

Shayla will be the head coach for 13 Navy for the 2009-2010 season.
