Joe Brand

brandCoach Joe Brand takes over as the 2012 Head Coach for 12 Pink after a successful season as the 14 Amber assistant coach, which made a strong showing at Junior Olympics in 2011. Joe has coached youth sports since 1994, including volleyball, baseball, and softball. Joe has been coaching club volleyball since 2001 and high school volleyball since 2002.

Joe has been the head coach of 15 Cardinal, assistant coach of 14 Amber, and now is at the helm of 12 Pink. Joe is currently the Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach at 2010 State contender Highlands Ranch High School. Joe has coached high school and club volleyball in the Denver and Fort Collins area, ranging from middle school to varsity athletes, since 1996.

In additional to his work with high school players, Joe ran a Gold Crown middle school volleyball program for three years. Joe has also coached junior high volleyball in Fort Collins and coached the State Champion CARA Volleyball program from Highlands Ranch in 2003.

Joe was trained in coaching at Colorado State University. Joe was listed in the American Sports Education Program National Coaches Registry in 1995 and became CAP I and CHSAA certified in 2003. Joe has enjoyed playing both hard-court and grass doubles on numerous teams since 1992.

Outside of volleyball, Joe coaches Park Rangers in law enforcement tactics as a manager for Colorado State Parks and loves spending free time and traveling with his wife Michelle, son Parker, and daughter Sierra.
