Eduardo Fiallos
Eduardo was introduced to volleyball as a high school
senior in Phoenix, Arizona and played as a
member of the University of Arizona men’s club team. While
working towards his degree and playing, he began coaching in the
spring of 1993.
Since earning his CAP level I credential in 1993, Eduardo has continued
coaching Junior Olympic volleyball, coaching for clubs in
Arizona, Louisiana, and California and at camps in Arizona, Louisiana,
California, and Florida. During his career, he has guided three
different teams to top 30 finishes (out of over 300 teams) at the
Volleyball Festival.
In 1997, Eduardo was initiated into the collegiate coaching ranks
when he became the volunteer assistant at his alma mater. He went
on to coach at Cal State – Dominguez Hills, which plays in
one of the premier NCAA Division II conferences in the nation. He
has also coached Division I volleyball at the University of Louisiana
– Lafayette. During his collegiate coaching, he also taught
volleyball and volleyball coaching classes.
Eduardo moved to Denver in the summer of 2004 and immediately began
working with Front Range as the assistant coach of
15 White, the 2005 RMR champion and Silver Medal winner
at JOs in 2005. He was the assistant of 18 Gold during the 2006 season.
Eduardo spent the fall of 2006 as an assistant coach at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He returned to Denver and Front Range after the completion of the college season and is now working full time for the club as an administrative assistant. He spent the 2007 club season as the assistant coach of 18 Black. Black medaled twice during his tenure, winning a silver medal at the Northern Lights national qualifier and a bronze medal at the AAU National Championships.
This season, Eduardo will co-coach 17 Silver with Head Coach Jim Miret.
