Brett Ammerman

Brett begins his 4th season with Front Range this fall.

He began playing volleyball at Purdue University after a 2-year stint with the Boilermaker Basketball team. After playing for 2 years on the Purdue Club VB team, Brett moved to Anchorage and continued to play competitively and began coaching high school boys in the Anchorage area.

As Brett’s family grew, they relocated to Colorado, where coaching began again, this time at the club level, where Brett assisted in taking his son’s 16 year-old team to a second place finish in the Club division at 2003 JOs. This was the best finish by a Colorado boy’s club in quite some time, until this year when Brett’s 16’s team qualified for the Open division and finished in the Bronze division with two players selected to participate in USA High Performance camps.

Brett is also on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Boy’s High School Volleyball Association and continues to coach at Chaparral High School where they have won two 5A state titles in the 5 years the program has been in existence.

Brett and his wife Maria are the proud parents of Ryan (UC Irvine), Sarah (Front Range Alum, Texas A&M), Luke (Front Range), Dalton (Front Range), Hannah, Emma, Sebastian and Mary.
